Background
Ariels VCNA has a rich heritage in Representative Netball, dedicated to cultivating athletes, coaches, and umpires through specialised training and comprehensive development programs. Our supportive environment empowers individuals to achieve their full potential and creates pathways for their netball journey.
Representative Trials are scheduled for October 20th and October 27th at Maroondah Nets in Heathmont.
Training for all Ariels 2025 Representative teams will be at Maroondah Nets.

Notes:
- 11&U, 13&U Male and Female players are invited to trial.
- At least one 11&U team competes at Waverley on Monday nights from July-December.
- 13&U and 15&U will participate in a compulsory 60 min Social comp Wednesday evening during term 1.
- 13&U, 15&U – max number of teams will be selected if the standard is appropriate.
- U19 State Super Netball Series – Players are to trial in their age group listed above. All trialing U17 and eligible Open players will be considered for our U19 SSN team.

U19 State Super Netball Series – Players are to trial in their age group listed above. All U17 and eligible Open aged players’ trialing will be considered for our U19 SSN team.
Trial Expectations
- Arrive at the courts at least 15 minutes before your start times – all players need to be checked in and a number written on the outside of each leg.
- Players to wear white top and black shorts.
- No club or association uniforms to be worn.
- Players that do not attend the first trial cannot be considered for a team.
- Successful players will receive an email to attend a call back trial on the following week.
- Players that are part of the call back will be advised of Squad selection the week commencing October 29th.
Other Ariels Information
- Squad preseason training commences in the first week of December and continues through December and January.
- Team announcements will be made during preseason.
- Pre-Season Camp will be held at Philip Island in late January.
- All teams train weekly at Maroondah Nets.
- Training Partner positions will be offered for U11, U13, U15, U17 and U19 squads.
