Firstly, I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our special Yarra Bend committee members for their hard work in preparing us to move into Yarra Bend. Your dedication to this project has been unwavering.

This year is incredibly exciting as we launch into a new era of Ariels. As we look forward, we also take a moment to Honour the remarkable women who paved the way for us. These are the young girls and women who played through the Depression, saw their fathers, boyfriends, and husbands go off to fight in wars, and those who survived Woodstock and the shoulder pad era. These women created the legacy we now know as Ariels.

You are now part of this legacy – a new generation of Ariels.

You are a generation that is Elite, standing above the rest not just through your performance on the court but also in how you conduct yourselves off the court.

You are a generation that is Relentless, never giving up, fighting for what you know is right, giving your all, and leaving nothing behind.

And you are a generation that is United, understanding that you are stronger together and that together, you will achieve more than you could on your own.
