JOB POSITION DESCRIPTIONS
Social Competition Manager (Casual)
Location: The Rings, Ringwood
Hours: 6–8 per week (Evenings – Sunday & Thursday), plus administration time
Type: Casual
Organisation: Ariels Victorian Churches Netball Association
Ariels VCNA is on the lookout for a competition co-ordinator to lead our Social Netball Competitions @ The Rings, Ringwood. We’re one of Australia’s oldest netball associations, with a proud 90+ year history of supporting community sport in Melbourne’s east.
What You'll Do
- Run our Thursday & Sunday evening competitions
- Coordinate teams, fixtures & registrations
- Roster and support umpires
- Handle courtside setup and matchday supervision
- Keep things running smoothly via Netball Connect
- Ensure communication with teams and community
- Be the friendly face players and captains rely on
Participation Manager - Fairlea Netball
Location: Fairlea Reserve, Fairfield VIC
Hours: Approx. 15 per week (flexible, including weekends/evenings)
Type: Casual

We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Participation Manager to lead the launch and growth of netball competitions at Fairlea Reserve. This is a hands-on, community-focused role perfect for someone who’s passionate about sport, people, and grassroots development. Ariels VCNA has a proud 90-year legacy of promoting netball in Melbourne’s east — and now, we’re expanding into Fairfield.
What You'll Do
- Launch and manage NetSetGO, junior, senior & social netball comps
- Build local partnerships with schools, clubs & community groups
- Recruit volunteers, umpires, coaches & participants
- Promote Ariels in the local area and on social media
- Liaise with council and report to the Ariels Committee
