Ariels VCNA has a rich heritage in Representative Netball, dedicated to cultivating athletes, coaches, and umpires through specialised training and comprehensive development programs. Our supportive environment empowers individuals to achieve their full potential and creates pathways for their netball journey.
Training for all Ariels 2026 Representative teams will be at Maroondah Nets.

Notes:
- 11&U, 13&U Male and Female players are invited to trial.
- Our top 15’s and 17’s will also attend Association Champs.
- 15’s, 17’s, 19’s, 23’s are eligible to trial for the State Titles in the Chisholm Region.

Trial Expectations
- Please arrive at the courts at least 15 minutes before your start time so you can be checked in and numbers written on the outside of each leg. Please remove any other numbering before arriving.
- Wear a white top and black shorts – do not wear any club or association uniforms on trial day.
- If you can’t make the first trial, unfortunately, we won’t be able to consider you for a team unless you’ve received written permission from Ariels and provided the necessary supporting evidence.
- After the first trial, successful players will receive an email invitation to attend a callback trial the following week.
- Squad offers will be communicated within 5 days of the final trial.
- Every player is guaranteed at least 2 games. You may have the chance to play more if extra opportunities come up in certain positions. While we try to avoid scheduling back-to-back games for players, sometimes this might be necessary.
- Players who wish to be considered for multiple age groups must register and trial for each group separately. For example, a player eligible for 17&U who would also like to be considered for the 19&U team will need to register to trial on Sunday night for 19&U and again on Monday night for 17&U.
Other Ariels Information
- Uniform try on day will be in November.
- Squad preseason training commences in the first week of December and continues through December and January.
- Team announcements will be made during preseason.
- Pre-Season Camp will be held at Philip Island in late January.
- All teams train weekly at Maroondah Nets.
- Training Partner positions will be offered for U11, U13, U15, U17 and U19 squads.
